The Transmitters are an original funk soul band from Berkshire County Massachusetts founded in 2014 by guitarist Rob Sanzone and bassist Miles Lally (founding members of the groups Jordan Weller and the Feathers / Lovan). In 2017, they reunited with former Feathers alum Joe Rose on keyboards. The band has a rotating roster of the best drummers in the northeast making each show a unique musical happening. A deep-groove guitar driven band specializing in infectiously danceable grooves, the Transmitters are fueled by their endless devotion to funk, soul, reggae, surf and spirited rock n roll. Digging deep on improvisation, the groove and devoted exploration of musical space, the Transmitters captivate crowds of dancing fans, keeping the beat alive much in the same vain of old-school block parties.
