Like a dusty old jukebox buried in the back of your odd uncle’s garage, The Crevulators take listeners on a trip through the great American soundscape. With influences ranging from classic country, rockabilly, rockn’roll, blues, jazz, garage-psych & even tejano, The “Crevs” dish up a mélange of everything that is American music. For fans of Elvis, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, The Stones, Bob Dylan, The Band, The Byrds, Doug Sahm, CCR, Tom Petty, Cracker, The Replacements, Los Lobos, Tom Waits, etc.
Former Island Records recording artist, Mike Cobb has been playing music since 1990. He has toured the USA & Spain & has shared the stage with Oasis, The Urban Pioneers, The Legendary Shack Shakers, & many more. Today, Mike is based out of Brooklyn, NY and leads The Crevulators who play eclectic americana aka “Eclecticana!” Mike also sings in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, & Italian.
Originally from Norfolk, CT, Mike plays throughout New York, New England & Spain, & has performed at venues large & small including Infinity Hall, 41 Bridge Street, The Knitting Factory, CBGB’s, & many more. Mike also produces 1st Place Radio, a podcast with a focus on local and national touring musicians and is producing a teaser for a series on the Brooklyn Music scene.
