Award-winning comedy producer, Mark Farrell, whose credits include Larry David’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” is bringing his pals to the Berkshires to create a once-a-month evening of Thickly Settled Comedy at the new Barn at Egremont Village Inn.
Beginning on Friday, July 22nd, Thickly Settled Comedy will present two complete shows (7:30p & 9:30p) that combine established city comics, like New York’s Will Garré, with newfound local talent, including host Justin Leveille, a comic and comedy filmmaker in his own right.
Headlining the first show will be Lynne Koplitz. Lynne has been performing for the past four years on Jenny McCarthy’s live tour, “Dirty Sexy Funny,” which is also on Epix. Most recently, Koplitz guest performed on Louie CK’s controversial new web series, “Horace and Pete,” along with a star-studded cast including Steve Buscemi, Jessica Lange, Alan Alda and Edie Falco, to name a few. She also appeared doing her stand up in Chris Rock’s movie, “Top Five.”
Lynne has lived in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village with her dog, Aldo, for more years than she will admit. Her self-deprecating comedy draws from her life experience, and her act is often reminiscent of her long-time mentor and friend, Joan Rivers.
